Returning to your community after a period of incarceration or suffering the consequences of a criminal conviction on your record can be difficult. Fortunately there are people and programs who can help. This site is intended to help you locate resources and assistance in Western North Carolina.

A good place to start is the Federal Interagency Reentry Council’s Reentry MythBusters which dispels common myths about what federal benefits you may be able to access, even if you’ve been convicted of a felony.

On this site you will find information about housing, jobs, public benefits, healthcare, legal issues, reentry support programs and more.
